Outlet Description:

Founded in 1965 by Hainanese Ah Kors (big brothers), Balmoral Bakery, an off-shoot of Balmoral Steak House in Holland Village, started off selling English-influenced cakes and pastries to the British and American armed forces then stationed in Singapore. Over time, its reputation for its delicious golden pastries and moist, flavourful cakes grew. In 1984, it relocated to its current premises at Sunset Way. Today, its curry puffs, samosas, chicken pies, butter cakes and nostalgic rum balls and cream horns are still finding favour with residents and fans who have grown up eating them.
