Outlet Description:

Established in 1973, Chin Lee Restaurant serves traditional Teochew cuisine.  The kitchen is helmed by chef Eric Chua who inherited the business from his father. In his 40s, chef Eric is one of a group of younger chefs who are helming traditional Chinese restaurants these days. Starting as a zi char stall under a block of HDB flats, Chin Lee today has a loyal following who will travel to the east side for their Teochew fix in this smart looking restaurant.  Traditional favourites such as chye poh kway teow, oyster omelette, hey chor and orh nee do not disappoint.  We have heard that their suckling pig is also very good (pre-order required).  Reservations are essential on weekends.
