Outlet Description:

The House of Peranakan has been run by chef-owner Bob Seah since the 1980s. Originally located at Negara Claymore Hotel, the restaurant is now situated along a row of shophouses at Frankel Avenue in Siglap. While parking may be a challenge, the ambience of the restaurant is warm and cosy. Decorated with lovely Peranakan-ware, you will be treated to traditional dishes of ayam buah keluak, ngor hiang and itek sioh.  In 2002, Stan Sesser of the Asian Wall Street Journal voted the House of Peranakan’s Curry Fish Head as the best dish in Singapore.
