Outlet Description:

Located at the Village Hotel Bugis (formerly the Golden Landmark Hotel), Mooi Chin Place (originally known as Mooi Chin Restaurant & Bar) was established in 1935 along Purvis Street serving traditional Anglo-Hainanese fare. Helmed by the third generation of the Wong family, this restaurant has since included traditional Chinese dishes on their menu.  This large, plain-looking restaurant caters to groups of tourists; try to come off-peak or early to avoid the noise and crowds. Must-haves include their Hainanese  pork chop, mutton soup, chicken rice and chicken curry. If you’re after a nostalgic taste, order their cheese burger which comes with a thick meat patty, club sandwich and very good homemade iced lemon tea.
