Outlet Description:

Established in the 1930s, Quan Xiang Yuan (Jing Ji) Seafood restaurant started life in Queen Street before moving to Victoria Street and finally to its present location at Jalan Besar.  Named after the founder’s family hometown of Quan Zhou in the Fujian Province of China, this old-style restaurant serves authentic Hokkien dishes. Helmed by the fourth generation of the Tho family, Gabriel and Amy have preserved their heritage through their dishes and have even expanded to frozen items under the Heirloom Foods label.  Restaurant must-haves include the traditional Hokkien Mee, prawn & liver balls, fish maw soup and kong bak pau.
