Outlet Description:

Established in 1908, Singapore’s oldest Indian-Muslin restaurant continues to appeal to diners over the years. The highlights here are the generously portioned yet reasonbly priced murtabak and biryani dishes laden with chicken, mutton or deer.  Managing the outlet presently is third-generation owner Suliaman C.V. who took over the business from his father Haji Karim more than two decades ago. Haji Karim inherited Zam Zam from his father and uncle.  The restaurant started out as Singapore Restaurant, and in 1985 changed its name to Singapore Zam Zam after taking over the Zam Zam outlet next door. Today, it serves consistently good food from breakfast till supper.
