Outlet Description:

Established in 1935 by Tham Kai Chee, family business Tai Chong Kok has been perfecting the art of making traditional Cantonese confections for three generations. Hand-made mooncakes and nian gao are their signature items, along with traditional cupcakes, cookies, and tau sar piah. One of Singapore’s few Chinese bakeries to sell mooncakes year-round, not solely during Mid-Autumn, Tai Chong Kok still makes its own preservative-free lotus seed paste: the other staple mooncake flavours include red bean, and the very popular mixed nuts.
